1. Foreword
ShopShip.us (hereinafter referred to as “SSU”) is a provider of services to help the customer purchase products and/or merchandise (hereinafter referred to as “products”) from auctions and on-line shops around the world. SSU leaves the selection of the auction or the shop up to the customer, the customer. SSU role is to purchase a product from the seller exactly as instructed by the customer. Therefore, SSU will not guarantee, exchange or recoup the product or merchandise, nor will be compensate for damages that occur due to fraud. Please thoroughly understand this point before the customer use SSU services.

2. Products that SSU cannot handle
1. Anything that is prohibited by law from being exported out of or imported into the customer’s country of residence (or the country of destination)
2. Anything that is to be ordered from an auction seller or on-line shop considered to be high- risk
* When the seller has a poor reputation and significantly negative feedback
* When the seller is non-American and accepts only cash for payment
3. Anything that is very likely to become damaged during shipment

3.Exemption from liability

If any of the following problems arises, SSU will not be responsible for any damage:
* When the seller or the shop has not shipped the product(s)
* When the product has been shipped by the seller or the shop but has not been delivered to the customer
* When the product has been found to be a counterfeit or a copy
* When the product contents are different from the explanations or answers provided by the seller to our questions before the purchase order was placed
* When the product is damaged or destroyed in transit
* When SSU has not caused any direct damage to the product, SSU will not be responsible for it

4.Registration of members; Security of privacy

If there is any error in the registration information provided by a user, and if the error causes any problem in SSU operations, SSU will not be responsible for the problem or its consequences to the user.
SSU will use the registration information only for the execution of SSU service operations.SSU will never provide the user’s information to a third party. Although the registered information is protected by SSL and other software systems, if the information is leaked by any means beyond SSU control, SSU will not be responsible for it.

5.About our proxy service

1. SSU has the right to refuse to provide its services to any user. (Please do not use SSU services for the purpose of committing illegal or unlawful acts.)
2. If SSU determines that it is very likely that the customer’s order will cause a problem, SSU may refuses to proceed with the order.
3. Upon transmitting the customer’s request for SSU to act as the customer’s agent, the customer is deemed to have accepted the policy of the seller from which the customer is ordering.
4. After transmitting the customer’s request for SSU to act as the agent, the customer cannot cancel it.
5. After transmitting the customer’s request for SSU to act as the agent, the customer cannot change the contents of the request.
6. SSU will not translate or interpret product brochures or correspondence letters with sellers.
7. All expenses incurred in processing the customer’s order shall be paid by the customer.
8. The product guarantee shall be based on the supplier’s/seller’s policy. SSU cannot guarantee any of the products the customer ordered.
9. Even when the customer requests a direct shipment from the seller to the customer’s address, if the seller will not make such a direct shipment, it will be shipped to SSU.
10. Please notify SSU in the event the customer has requested a direct shipment from the seller to the customer’s address when SSU acted as the purchasing agent in an auction or at an online shop, and if the product has not been delivered to the customer within three weeks after the establishment of the purchase contract. If the customer does not notify SSU within that period of time, SSU will assume that the product has been delivered and will not be able to handle the customer’s claim of non-delivery.
11. Please notify SSU in the event SSU has acted as the agent in an auction or at an online shop and if the customer has not received the product within three weeks after the purchase contract was established. Unless SSU receives such notification, SSU will not be able to support the customer’s claim.
12. The customer cannot return or exchange any product that the customer has ordered or purchased from an online shop when SSU has acted as the agent.
13. The SSU inspection only confirms the product name and quantities, and check the outside of the package for any sign of breakage or damage. If the customer has other specific items for SSU to check, please notify in advance.
14. If the customer does not make payment to SSU, it has the right to dispose of the product that has purchased on the customer’s behalf.

6.About our purchasing service

1. SSU has the right to refuse to provide services to anyone.
2.All expenses incurred in processing the customer’s order shall be paid by the customer.
3. The product guarantee shall be based on the supplier’s/seller’s policy. SSU cannot guarantee any of the products the customer ordered.
4. All of the customer’s payments must be made in advance, without exception.
5.If any of the following problems should occur, SSU will not be responsible for damages:
* When a seller or shop has failed to deliver the product to SSU
* When the product was a counterfeit or a copy
* When the product contents are different from the explanations or answers provided by the seller to SSU questions before the purchase order was placed
* When the product is damaged or destroyed in transit
* When SSU has not caused any direct damage to the product, SSU will not be responsible for products

7.About the customer’s unpaid order

SSU will cancel any order that remains unpaid two weeks after the invoicing. If SSU has purchased a product and paid for it on the customer’s behalf, SSU has the right to dispose of the product. Regarding a product that the customer does not request SSU to ship after a certain period in the storage, SSU has the right to deem it scrapped by the customer and to dispose of it.

8.About the customer’s payment

1.The customer must pay the invoiced amount in full within three business days after receiving a payment invoice from SSU, regardless of whether or not the customer has received the product.
2.The customer shall pay all expenses necessary for executing the transaction.
3. Regarding the settlement between the customer, and SSU, only the currency of the customer’s country or U.S. dollars shall be used.
4. SSU will use the exchange rate employed by SSU to convert the currency of the customer’s country into U.S. dollars.
5. The customer’s bank’s remittance fee and our bank’s fee for the receipt of the customer’s remittance shall be paid by the customer.

9.About our termination of service

SSU has the right to terminate its services under any one or more of the following conditions:
1. When the system of SSU is inspected in an emergency
2. When the service of SSU linked site is terminated
3. When the server cannot be operated due to a natural disaster, power outage or interference by a third party
4.When there occurs an unforeseen event that is beyond the control of SSU

10. About SSU newsletters and messages

When the customer registers with SSU, the customer must agree to receive the newsletters and messages sent by SSU.

11.About the Contents in SSU Web site

SSU shall be considered the proprietor of all contents, systems and programs on the SSU homepage.
